Borongan

Borongan tapi singkat yaaaa
03 July - Apek ROM! Acara dimulai jam 2.25pm. Mommy rencana ambil cuti setengah hari tapi jadi ended up sehari full karena persiapan kiri kanan, atas bawah (apaan siyyy :P). Selesai ceremony, kita makan dimsun di resto Tak Po di daerah Chinatown dan lanjut jalan2 sekitar sana deh sampe mayan malem.

04 July - Mommy dapet tugas ke kantor client di daerah Orchard. Abis makan siang dapet telpon dari Pho2, thaijichong Ferry (suami sepupu mommy) jatoh di kamar mandi dan masuk ICU. Belakangan baru dapet info lengkapnya, dia merasa kepala nya sakit dan tambah parah waktu mo buang air besar. Kata dokter waktu dia ngeden itu banyak urat syaraf nya yang menuju otak terputus.

05 July - Mommy ke persekutuan doa tanpa Zion dan daddy. Sempet juga ngerayain Aunt Ria & Uncle Torkis wedding anniversary. Waktu pulang Zion udah berpiyama dan siap tidur :)

06 July - Ngga ke mana2. Istirahat sambil beberes rumah

11 July - Pagi2 sekali dapet telpon dari Pho2 yang ngabarin Thaijichong Ferry sudah pulang ke rumah Bapa kamis malam jam 11.45pm. Sedih mengingat baru bulan lalu ketemu dia waktu Kung2 ultah di Jakarta dan kita masih becanda, dan anak2 nya juga masih kecil2 (3 anak perempuan). Tapi juga bersyukur, dia pergi dengan tenang dan sudah diselamatkan. Dapet pelajaran berharga dalam hidup, bahwa manusia cuma bisa berencana tapi tidak ada yang bisa menduga rencana Allah. Sampai ketemu di rumah Bapa ya Cichong!

12 July - Ke PD lagi, kali ini dengan Zion dan Daddy. Bikin brownies kukus dari rumah dan ludes tak bersisa.

13 July - Sebenernya ada acara badmintonan dan dinner bareng, tapi mommy terpaksa ngga ikutan karena Suk2 mo dateng. Sibuk beberes rumah lagi dan ke Parkway jam 5an. Dinner sama2 di resto sebelah NTUC deket rumah, trus lanjut jalan2 ke Big Splash di mana Zion disewain motor sama Suk2 ($4 untuk 10 menit) dan diakhiri dengan makan durian di tepi pantai ditemani angin pantai malam hari.

ZhiXuan 1st birthday party

Last weekend we went to Downtown East to celebrate ZhiXuan’s birthday. Mommy was trying to clean the house during weekdays so we can go and stay overnight during the weekend.

We went there around 2pm on Saturday, together with Apek and Ama. Apek stop at the bus interchange to fetch his girlfriend then, while we continue our trip. Zion very excited to see so many attractions available for children, and can’t wait to swim when he saw Wild Wild Wet. Since its our first time going there, we not really know where to go and daddy decide to call Asuk and ask him to meet us at the food court. Asuk and his family already there earlier and done all the check in. For this occasion, Asuk rent 2 chalet plus its barbeque pit.

Surprisingly the rooms are very spacious! At the first place mommy thought it will be the same with a hotel room, just a bed and nothing else. But the rooms there come with a fridge, 2 single bed that put together plus drawer bed each (so total got 4 single bed), and a DVD player! After everyone settled down, daddy is saying that he want to make use the free ticket given by the chalet. The 4 tickets can be use either for Wild Wild Wet or for Escape Theme Park. But mommy and Asim decided to stay in the rooms to make the children taking their nap first, preparing the energy for that night party. So daddy went there with Apek, Ching2 Aie, and Ama.



Zion easily taking a nap (because mommy said he can’t go swim if he don’t take his nap :D) and later on ZhiXuan also fallen asleep. Thaikupho and Siaokupho came around 4 and we were chit chatting in the room because it’s still early and too hot to start the barbeque. When Zion wake up around 5pm, mommy took him to take a look around the chalet and go to NTUC to buy the ice cube and extra paper plates. Zion’s quite well behaved then. Asked mommy few times for a ride and was ok when mommy told him to go later because mommy is carrying things and need to go back to chalet to help prepare the barbeque. He even helped mommy bring some shopping bags (with his snack inside of course) and follow mommy walk since mommy’s hands are occupied with the shopping bags.

The fire already started when we were back. Thaikupho and Siaokupho even already start eating! Zion keeps asking mommy for a chicken wing as he really loved it and finish 2 whole pieces. Mommy ordered some otak otak from Auntie Hanny and Zion managed to eat 1 piece of it after the chicken wings. Mommy asked everyone to try the otak2 and everyone like it! It’s quite different from otah in Singapore, which is spicy and softer compare to Indonesian otak2. We take turn to do the barbeque. The next person to come is Akong. He went there directly from his working place. After bath he immediately join the crowd.

Zion spend most of the time in the room with Zhixuan who is actually afraid of hot weather. He jumping around, playing balloon and sometimes was trying to hug Zhixuan. Mommy tried to remind him but he was too excited and ended up vomit when he was too tired from the jumping. The next group of guest was coming then, Asim’s relative from her dad, 1 family with 2 well behaved kids. Even though the youngest is younger than Zion but she was very well behaved and not run around like what Zion did.

Around 10pm Asuk take out the birthday cake (chocolate cake from Emicakes,yummyyy….) and everyone gather to sing happy birthday song. Took some photos and ate the cake together. Zion like the cake so much until his mouth so dirty covered with chocolate and mommy also give Zhixuan some scoop of his birthday cake and he loved it also. But since he is too young and Asim said the cake is too sweet for him, so mommy stop feeding him.


Thaikupho and Siaokupho left first (forgot the timing), then follow by Asim’s suk suk’s family and the last one was Akong, Ama, Apek n Ching Aie. After do the last cleaning up, we take turn to take a bath and mommy accompanied Zion to sleep. Daddy still can’t sleep because of the alcohol and still go out to take a look. He only back around 1am and we sleep after that. Quite a tiring day but we really enjoyed it!

We have our breakfast at the food court near the chalet and get ready to swim after that. Asuk bought hand float for Zion and baby float for Zhixuan (thanks Suk). Too bad Asim forget to bring her swimsuit and shirt is not allowed in the pool so she only can swim for a while and sit with her leg in the water after that to taking some photos. Can’t swim too long because afraid the children will be too cold, so we go back to chalet to bath after that and getting ready to check out. We take taxi going back home, having lunch then 3 of us having a nap to recharge because still feel tired after last night party
